About the role
If you’re ready to build your career in commercial insurance, this Account Handler opportunity offers the chance to work with a wide range of clients while developing your expertise in a supportive, specialist environment. You’ll play an important role within the Anthony James Insurance Brokers team, helping to deliver high-quality service and contributing to client retention and growth across the portfolio.
You’ll manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, supporting renewals, policy administration, and day-to-day servicing while working closely with Account Executives and insurer partners.
What you’ll be doing
· Managing client portfolios and ensuring a smooth, well-organised renewal process
· Understanding client requirements and recommending tailored insurance solutions
· Working with Account Executives to deliver high standards of client service and support business growth
· Liaising with insurers to secure suitable terms and maintain strong relationships
· Handling policy administration, including renewals, adjustments, and documentation
· Responding to client queries and supporting them through claims journeys
Who we’re looking for
You’ll bring commercial insurance experience and a proactive, client-focused approach, with confidence working in a fast-paced environment.
· At least three years’ experience in commercial or corporate insurance handling
· Strong communication skills and confidence using insurance systems and IT tools
· Experience managing client relationships and insurance portfolios
· Good understanding of renewals and policy administration processes
· Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and insurer partners
· Organised approach with attention to detail across multiple client accounts
