About the role

Our Anthony James team are looking for an experienced Handler, based in Loughborough or Birmingham, to play a key role in managing commercial clients and delivering exceptional service in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.

You’ll work closely with an experienced team, gain exposure to a diverse range of clients and products, and benefit from opportunities across the wider SRG group as they continue to expand nationally - offering clear pathways to develop your career further.

What you’ll be doing

·       Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring a smooth renewal process.

·       Understanding client needs and recommending appropriate insurance solutions.

·       Working with Account Executives to provide exemplary service to clients and identify opportunities for book growth and development

·       Working with insurers to secure suitable terms and maintain strong relationships.

·       Handling policy administration including renewals and endorsements.

·       Responding to client queries and supporting them through claims.

·       Assisting and mentoring junior members of the team

Who we’re looking for

·       You'll bring commercial insurance experience and a confident, client-focused approach.

·       Experience managing commercial or corporate insurance portfolios (at least 3 years essential)

·       Good communication skills and confidence using IT systems.

·       Ability to work proactively and collaboratively with clients and colleagues.

·       Sound understanding of insurance processes including renewals and policy administration.
